Trivia Question of the Week

Mr. Bingle

In honor of the season, this week’s Centennial Trivia Question deals with a New Orleans holiday icon. Generations of New Orleanians grew up with Mr. Bingle, who now greets holiday revelers as part of City Park’s Celebration in the Oaks, but for many years he was associated with a particular department store.

For this week’s Centennial Trivia Question, name the department store and tell us what connection that department store has to the founding of the Freeman School.

If you know the answer to this week’s question, post it in the comments section below. The first person with a correct answer — the correct answer we’re looking for that is — will win a Freeman Centennial T-shirt! Happy Holidays!
